Freedom Skate Shop will lead this free class! Learn the overall mechanics and parts of the skateboard, and how they operate. You'll also receive basic skills instruction on how to ride and operate a skateboard - and then test our your new skills at the Skatepark at McPike Park (formerly Central Park). 

Participants are expected to bring their own board and helmet (required). Additional pads are encouraged but are optional and is at the parent's discretion (if a minor).

Thanks to the Madison Parks Foundation all 2018 Learn to... workshops are free to attend. Advanced registration is required and may be done ONLINE or by calling (608) 266-4711.
