Sunday, April 8, 2018 - 9:00am to 10:30am
Location(s):
Elver Park
1250 McKenna Boulevard
Madison, WI

It’s fun to observe birds, but knowing exactly what you’re looking or listening for is often the biggest challenge for beginning birders. Madison Parks is partnering with the Madison Audubon Society to bring Learn to Birdwatch to Elver Park. An experienced birder will provide hands-on instruction on how to use binoculars, identifying common birds, what migration is and why birds do it, best birdwatching times and locations and more.

A limited number of binoculars will be available for use so please bring your own binoculars if possible.
