Join Rooted and Good Oak Ecological Services to learn about pollinators in and out of the vegetable garden in this free workshop! Raluca Allen will share how to provide beneficial habitat for pollinators within a vegetable garden, along with how to garden specifically for pollinators. Representatives from the Bridge-Lakepoint-Waunona community garden will also share a little about their garden and what they have done to increase pollinator habitat.

No equipment is needed. Children ages 5 and older are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult. This free event takes place at the community garden in Waunona Park, 5323 Raywood Road.

Rooted supports Community Gardens around the City of Madison and has coordinated with Madison Parks to find instructors to lead this and other Learning Series events this summer. Instructor Raluca Allen is a sustainable landscaping manager with Good Oak Ecological Services.
