Pope Farm Conservancy has a rich history and we want to share it with you! Heritage Days is a great event for the entire family to spend a beautiful afternoon in Pope Farm Conservancy and hear the history of the land in the Town of Middleton. This is a FREE event and a fantastic educational opportunity. We even offer a unique, scenic, horse-drawn wagon rides.

Our featured presenters will be positioned at five different sites around the conservancy to teach you how the land was formed by glaciers; how native plants from the prairies that existed here hundreds of years ago; how the Native Americans gardened and made stone tools; where the site of a late 1800’s settlers cabin was; and how the CCC and SCS worked to control erosion in the 1930’s dust bowl era.
