Come join the book club for lively, thoughtful discussions of our monthly book selection, Love, InshAllah: The Secret Love Lives of American Muslim Women. "Romance, dating, sex and - Muslim women? In this groundbreaking collection, 25 American Muslim writers sweep aside stereotypes to share their search for love openly for the first time, showing just how varied the search for love can be--from singles' events and online dating, to college flirtations and arranged marriages, all with a uniquely Muslim twist."
While we encourage you to read all the stories, our discussion will be around the following chapters: - The Opening - Love in the Time of Biohazards - The Hybrid Dance - Rerouting - Last Night on the Island - Shalom to Salam - Three - Brain Meets Heart
Discussions facilitated by members of the Library Takeover planning team, including Maria Ahmad, Syed Umar Warsi, Mouna Algahaithi, and Asmahan Sandokji.
