Turville Point: Identifying Trees and Fungi with Arborist Sean Gere
Sean Gere is a certified arborist and has helped install wildlife cameras in trees to monitor owls. Sean will identify trees and fungi and point out how trees provide homes, shelter and sources of food for wildlife in our woods. Jeff Steele will help with the identification of the birds and flowers. This is a family-friendly walk on gentle woodland, prairie and lakeshore paths.

Walks at Turville Point the 2nd Sunday every month are co-sponsored by Madison Bird City partners Friends of Olin Turville and Madison Audubon Meet at the Turville parking lot via John Nolan Drive at the railroad tracks.
