Lakeshore Preserve: Bird Migration Mysteries with Roma Lenehan
Learn about the birds and habitat at the Lakeshore Nature Preserve from local expert Roma Lenehan who compiled the master bird list. We will look for native resident birds and their northern cousins on their fall migrations.

Free, family-friendly Bird and Nature Walks are offered year-round on Sunday afternoons 1:30-3:00 pm. Discover the hidden natural areas in four of Madison's most beautiful parks and conservancies. Volunteer trip leaders and participants share their enthusiasm about nature and the birds, plants, and animals. Walks are on easy paths through scenic areas. Enjoy healthy nature recreation with a bit of nature education!
