Prairie Ridge Conservation Park

Madison, WI

Broad, sweeping views across this glacial ridge provide a glimpse into the landscape of the past.  Come see how we are stewarding it into the future. Located on Madison's far southwest side between Raymond Road and South High Point Road, Prairie Ridge Conservation Park features steep prairies, a.k.a. goat prairies - as only goats would be able to traverse this steep slope.

Conservation Park Tours are a staff-guided, easy walk held seasonally at various conservation parks. These events are free to attend, family-friendly and no registration is required. Walks are held rain or shine.
