Join Central Cinema and USgathering for the screening of Food for Thought, Food for Life. “We want our food fast, convenient and cheap, but at what cost? As farms become supersized our environment suffers and so does the quality of our food. Food for Thought, Food for Life wants to start a revolution in the food system. This film is a conversation starter inspiring us to think differently about what we eat, and to make changes that will positively impact our health, our earth and our communities.” Join Shelly Strom, Community Lands and Garden Director of Community Groundworks; Kirsten Moore and Megan Minnick, Director of Cooperative Services and Purchasing Director, Willy St. Coop; and Michelle Miller, Associate Director, UW-Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems for a conversation following the film.
