Free, family-friendly nature outing! Naturalist Alex Singer will lead a walk on easy Cherokee Marsh hiking trails at the height of fall colors.  Geese will be honking to their friends along the Yahara River and squirrels will be busy gathering nuts.  Bring the kids or a friend and have a great time outdoors.  No registration required. Co-sponsored by Madison FUN partner groups Madison Parks, Madison Audubon and Friends of Cherokee Marsh. Walks at Cherokee Marsh the 1st Sunday every month are co-sponsored by Madison Bird City FUN partners Friends of Cherokee Marsh and Madison Audubon. Follow the entry lane at the north end of N. Sherman Ave. to the end of the gravel road.
