Reflections on Water with Paul Noeldner ~ Take a walk with Master Naturalist Paul Noeldner along the Lake Mendota shoreline and Yahara Riverway to enjoy the splendor of fall colors reflected in water in the scenic Tenney Park lagoon.  Bring nature poems and share readings at the arched bridges and other scenic spots!  We will also look for birds in the shallow water in Lake Mendota bays that attract hundreds of graceful white swans and colorful migratory waterfowl and along the Yahara canal that provides year-round habitat for bright Kingfishers and overwintering ducks, and talk about the importance of clean water.

Enjoy nature in Tenney Park along Lake Mendota and the Yahara River Parkway bike path through the Madison Isthmus! Free, family-friendly walks at Tenney Park are held the first Saturday of each month, from 2:30-4pm and begin at the Tenney Beach parking lot, 1330 Sherman Avenue. No registration required. No pets are allowed. Co-sponsored by Madison FUN Friends of Urban Nature, Madison Parks, Madison Audubon Society, Tenney-Lapham Neighborhood Association and Friends of the Yahara River Parkway.
