A Wild Thanksgiving!  Join Master Naturalist Paul Noeldner for a free family friendly afternoon outing at this beautiful natural area to see the changing colors and fall birds.  We will look for the large Owen Wild Turkey flock enjoying a natural Thanksgiving of acorns and other nuts in the oak openings and along the trails.  Did you know their heads can change color like a chameleon?

Bird and Nature Outings at Owen Conservation Park the 2nd Saturday afternoon every month are co-sponsored by Madison FUN Friends of Urban Nature partner groups Madison Parks, Madison Audubon and Owen Conservation Park.
