Exploring with Leigh Langford. Join Master Naturalist, Leigh Langford, for a free family-friendly afternoon outing to look and listen for our winged and feathered residents that stay in Madison for the duration of winter.  We will also observe plant structures, behaviors and explore the relationships which encouraged those adaptations.  The Owen Conservation Park is home to many beautiful yet mysterious plant and and animal communities which possess several unique adaptations.

Free, family-friendly guided nature walks at Owen Conservation Park are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month, year-round 2:30-4pm and co-sponsored by Madison FUN Friends of Urban Nature partner groups, Madison Parks and Madison Audubon Society.
