Help save Whooping Cranes! Join Aldo Leopold Naturalist Emily Steinwehe and Lizzie Condon with the International Crane Foundation to learn about the endangered Whooping Crane. We will take a family friendly hike to Edna Taylor Conservation Park to view urban crane wetland and prairie upland habitat, and if lucky we may see some of our local Sandhill Cranes and a colt, which is what we call a young crane. Free nature outing, no registration required.
