Season Creep's Con's (and Pro's) with Alex Singer ~ Take a nature hike with Master Naturalist Alex Singer from the Aldo Leopold Nature Center through the ponds and woodlands of beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park on Madison's southeast side. As the effects of climate change are finally noticed by more and more people, a frog in the cauldron is the earlier advent of Spring and the delaying of Autumn. Learn about the mostly negative aspects of Season Creep. Differences in the customary changes of temperature and precipitation can positively and negatively affect plants and animals in ways we're only realizing as they play out in real time and exposed via long term research.

Join a naturalist for an easy family-friendly walk from Aldo Leopold Nature Center into beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park and enjoy a bit of nature education along the way. Walks through the Edna Taylor Conservation Park are held on the 4th Saturday, 10-11:30am of each month and begin at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center, 330 Femrite Drive. Co-sponsored by Madison Parks, Madison Audubon Society, and Aldo Leopold Nature Center. No registration required. No pets are allowed.
