Summer is upon us, and that means it's time to get more active outside. Are you thinking about getting that bicycle out of the basement or garage? Are you feeling the need for a refresher on how to ride safely, whether you want to just hit the trails or start pedaling to the park, the store, to work, or where ever else you might want to go? If so, this presentation is for you. Find out what you can do to keep yourself and those around you safe while riding your bike. Learn about why you should bike, types of bikes (if you are in the market for a new one), equipment to keep you safe, rules for the road, etc. We will answer any specific questions you may have about anything biking.

Our presenter is John Rider, a Share & Be Aware Ambassador with the Wisconsin Bike Fed. Share & Be Aware is a statewide campaign to increase pedestrian and bicyclist safety by educating all road users. This program is funded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and administered by the Wisconsin Bike Fed.
