UNIQUE GIFTS THAT SUPPORT YOUR VALUES - FIND THEM AT THE 19TH FAIR TRADE HOLIDAY FESTIVAL.

Looking for unique, socially responsible, handmade gifts this year? Then join us at the 19th Annual Fair Trade Holiday Festival (FTHF) on Saturday, December 5th! From 9am to 4pm Monona Terrace will be filled with hundreds of fairly-traded international products for you to choose from!

All vendors at the FTHF promise will only be selling products that have been made in a manner that supports the Fair Trade Federation’s 9 principles of Fair Trade (see insert).

Your purchase of a handcrafted Cambodian handbag helps fight Human Trafficking.  Fashionable accessories and dresses bought at the festival come from India and Nepal will support safe and empowering working conditions, not sweatshops.

Fun stuffed animals, baby accessories, doll clothes and other children’s products for your families, help artisan families keep their children fed and in school.

The hand-woven luxurious scarves and amazing textiles you may choose from create opportunities for marginalized producers in Guatemala, Peru, Indonesia and Kenya, while creative indigenous designs are transformed into beautiful jewelry.

And of course, everyone loves Fair Trade Coffee and Chocolate – which help support small farmer cooperatives and families maintain their crops and livelihoods at fair wages.
These are only a few of the unique fair trade gifts that you will find at the Madison’s 19 Annual FTHF. While your friends and family will enjoy and remember these unique gifts, you’ll know you have shopped responsibly this holiday season.
