About Drinking Water Week:

For more than 35 years, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and its members have celebrated Drinking Water Week - a unique opportunity for both water professionals and the communities they serve to join together to recognize the vital role water plays in our daily lives.

This Drinking Water Week, take a moment to appreciate the clean, safe water that comes from your tap. It's the same water dinosaurs drank millions of years ago, the same water frozen in glaciers that moved across Wisconsin, the same water our grand children and great grand children will drink. Let's take care of our precious resource as well as it takes care of us.
