West Side Boxing Club is located at the Elver Park Neighborhood Center and is run by Bob Lynch Boxing Foundation, Madison Police Department, and Wisconsin Youth Company. WSBC teaches the sweet science of boxing while also focusing on self esteem, work ethic, accountability, and discipline. WSBC is noncontact at the Elver Park Neighborhood Center. Once youth become proficient in boxing and can show strong work ethic and self control, youth will be transported to Ford's Gym to spar and potentially compete in USA Boxing Amateur Bouts.
We are looking for youth in grades 4th-12th grade who want to work hard and have fun learning boxing. We have two classes every Tuesday and Thursday. 4th grade-7th grade starts at 4:15 and goes to 5:15pm and 8th grade-12th grade starts at 5:30 and goes to 6:30. Cost of program is $68 for the whole year which is includes a USA Boxing Athlete Membership and hand wraps. Funding is available for families that cannot afford the cost. WSBC is a fluid program therefore you can start anytime.
