Bob and Irwin Goodman were famously private, but their philanthropic works around the city of Madison are still felt to this day.  In Good Men, the Lives and Philanthropy of Irwin A. and Robert D. Goodman Doug Moe artfully details their commitment to the city, as well as their humble and private existence.

Doug Moe has been a journalist in Madison for nearly 40 years. He spent 10 years as an editor at Madison Magazine, and nearly 20 as a daily newspaper columnist with the Capital Times and Wisconsin State Journal. He is the author of numerous books, including The World of Mike Royko and Lords of the Ring: The Triumph and Tragedy of College Boxing's Greatest Team. He is currently collaborating with former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson on Thompson's autobiography.

Doug will present on his latest book and then leave time for questions about the book or on his newspaper column from 1997-2015.
