The City of Madison Parks Division is holding a listening session to gather comments and answer questions regarding the Heifetz Park development plan.  Fraust, Harvey E. Schmidt, and Heifetz parks were previously administered by the Town of Madison and were transferred to the City in the fall of 2022.  Heifetz Park, known by neighbors as Mosquito Park, encompasses 3.96 acres and offers a sun shelter, basketball court, and play equipment. Parks staff held public input meetings and issued an online survey to gather input from the community on the future of the parks. Once the Master Plans have been developed with input from the neighborhood, the plans will go to the Board of Park Commissioners for approval.
