The City of Madison Community Development Division is accepting proposals from community-based organizations and nonprofit agencies for projects or activities that seek to address emerging needs or unanticipated opportunities, particularly those affecting issues of poverty or inequality within the City.  Proposals that reflect new or innovative approaches to such problems are of particular interest.   A total of $100,000 is available for allocation in this funding opportunity.  Applications are due by noon on February 17, 2014.  Guidelines and proposal applications are now available on the Emerging Opportunities Website.
