Madison, WI
One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a collision on the Interstate.
Engine 14 and Medic 14 were dispatched to I-90 westbound (near mile marker 141.4) at 4:52 a.m. Upon arrival, crews located a State Patrol officer rendering medical care to the driver of a sedan that suffered significant damage as a result of a collision. It was reported to MFD responders that a heavy duty flatbed trailer detached from a semi on the highway, and the sedan reportedly hit the back of the trailer.
