With the release today of three proposals for the city-owned property on the 800 N block of E Washington Avenue, Alders Bridget Maniaci and Marsha Rummel are elated at the three quality proposals that have been received by the City of Madison.

Issuing a joint statement, the alders said, "We would like to commend the design teams for three exciting proposals that address many neighborhood needs and reflect the ongoing dialogue on the vision for this important property in the Capitol East District. We look forward to a spirited and fruitful selection process."

Alders Maniaci and Rummel serve on the City's East Washington Avenue 800 Block North Committee that will be recommending a proposal to the Common Council. The committee's next meeting will be on March 7th at 5:30pm to begin the process of choosing a proposal for the property formerly occupied by the Don Miller car dealership.
