Paramedics were sent to a downtown apartment complex after a piece of workout equipment fell on a person, knocking out five of his teeth.

Medic 4 and Engine Company 1 responded to the Palisades Apartments find the 20-year-old man kneeling on the floor collecting his front teeth. He explained he was lying face-up on a workout bench and using a cable-suspended straight bar when it fell down onto his mouth. Other than direct injuries to the mouth, he did not suffer additional head trauma. 

Paramedics controlled the bleeding and packaged the patient's teeth as he was taken to a local ER for further medical attention.
