Fire Department

4 residents and 2 dogs were displaced after an early morning fire. Crews were dispatched at 2:46 am for a fire in a Northside apartment. Engine 10 and Medic 10 were the first units on scene arriving at 2:50am. Crews proceeded into the unit, quickly extinguishing a fire in the kitchen area. The unit had significant fire and smoke damage and the residents were displaced. All residents were safely evacuated and the Red Cross provided assistance. Damage estimates were not immediately available.
