Firefighters and paramedics responded to a home on Blackwolf Drive in response to a medical alarm. Upon arrival, responders found a vehicle inside the garage, where it had crashed through the wall and into the house.

Engine Company 12 and Medic 2 approached the vehicle and found one person sitting in the passenger seat. She said her brake pedal would not work, causing her vehicle to crash through the wall. She reported minor injuries and was transported by paramedics to a local hospital.

Meanwhile, firefighters inspected the house to make sure nobody else was inside and to ensure there were no imminent hazards like leaking fluids or electrical arcing. Electrical power feeding that area of the house and garage was shut down until repairs can be performed.

The crash caused approximately $20,000 worth of damage to the home as well as damage to the vehicle.
