Narrative: 

Firefighters responded to the 1800 block of Windam Way after a resident there smelled an odor like wood burning in the basement.
 
Engine Company 10 entered the house and also noted a faint smell of something that could be wood. During their investigation they found a GE fluorescent light that had fluid leaking from it—and had a smell similar to wood.
 
Firefighters disconnected the power to the light and ventilated the basement. The owner was instructed to call an electrician.
