Engine Company 8 and Medic 8 were dispatched to the Famous Footwear store on East Towne Blvd. Wednesday after a vehicle jumped a curb and collided with the building.
 
The Toyota crossover vehicle was pulled away from the building prior to responders’ arrival, and there was no visible damage to the car.
 
The impact did cause some shoes to fall of the shelves inside, and resulted in a very slight bow in the wall and joint cracks. Store managers were advised to call an expert in to assess whether there is additional structural damage.
 
There were no gas lines running in the area of impact, and MFD crews confirmed that all occupants and the driver were uninjured.
