Narrative:
MFD was called to assist an 8-year-old child who became stuck inside an infant swing on a southwest-side playground.
Ladder Company 7 and Medic 7 were dispatched to Lucy Lincoln Hiestand Park on Frisch Road, where parents were standing by with the girl. Firefighters took a pair of tin snips and cut back the rubber seat to release the child from the swing.
The girl was not injured, and EMS was not needed.
