Address:
1900 block E. Washington Ave.
Madison, WI
Narrative:

A woman on East Washington Ave. was just getting back from taking her dog out for a walk. She was on her electric scooter as she and her pup made their way down the common hallway in their apartment building. That’s when the dog’s leash became tangled in the wheels of the scooter. Not only was the dog stuck, but the scooter would no longer move.

Engine 3 was called over to help. Firefighters met them in the hallway, untangled the leash, freed the dog, and assisted the woman to her apartment.

There were no injuries, and the dog was doing fine.
