Fire Department

MFD responded to a report of a structure fire on East Valley Ridge Drive. Upon arrival Ladder 7 took command with nothing showing. The crew checked the area, which had a smell of smoke, and upon investigation found a smoldering grill on the deck. The resident had put an artificial log on the grill to use as a fire pit. Ladder 7 advised him of the ordinance and extinguished the fire. All other units were released.
