On Monday, June 20th, S&L Underground will close streets on the Capitol Square between East Washington Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue for three weeks in order to remove and replace concrete pavement.

The Capitol Square streets between Wisconsin Avenue and West Washington Avenue, which have been closed to traffic for the past month, will reopen to one lane of traffic and parking on the capitol side of the street on Monday, June 20th.  Work on pavement markings, lighting, traffic signals, and signing will continue on this section of the project.
 
The Dane County Farmers’ Market will operate as usual. 
 
Temporary pavement will be installed in order for Art Fair on the Square to operate as usual on July 9th and 10th. 
 
The estimated final completion date for the project is mid August.
