The Streets Division today added three new sections to its web page. The 2009 Recyclopedia and 2009 Recycling and Refuse Collection calendars are now available on the Division's web site www.cityofmadison.com/streets. They are located in the What's New section.

"The new Recyclopedia and collection calendars will be arriving in the mail in mid December," Madison recycling coordinator George Dreckmann said. "But rather than wait for the mail, we wanted to post them on line as soon as possible. This way residents can take advantage of this information right away."

The Recyclopedia will be mailed to over 61,000 Madison households during the week of December 15th. The booklet will contain all the latest information on the Streets Division's solid waste program.

"This year's Recyclopedia will include information on Madison's new waste reduction program, Waste Watchers," Dreckmann said. "In keeping with our waste reduction theme, we have also launched a new web page that will give folks tips on how to have a low waste holiday season."

The new holiday waste reduction page is also located at www.cityofmadison.com/streets. The information will be found in the Seasonal Links section and well as the Tip of The Month area.
