The planned closures for tonight have been cancelled.  The intersection will be open to all movements tonight.  The contractor will finish the work with closures tomorrow (Tuesday) night.

UPDATE Friday, 11/18/22 11:25 a.m.------------------------------------------------------------------------
Due to the cold weather forecast for the next two days, the contractor is suspending work until warmer temperatures on Sunday night.  The new schedule will be nightly closures Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights.

Due to the snow and cold, the nightly closures are expected to continue through Sunday night and into Monday (11/28) morning.

Nightly street and lane closures will occur at the John Nolen Dr & Blair St & Wilson St & Williamson St intersection starting Wednesday night at 9:00 p.m.  The closures will occur three consecutive nights from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. to complete the pavement markings.  South Blair Street will be fully closed between Railroad Street and E Wilson Street.  The following turning movements will remain open:

  • Eastbound E Wilson Street right turns to John Nolen Drive remain open
  • Westbound Williamson Street left turns to John Nolen Drive remain open
  • Northbound John Nolen Drive right turns to Williamson Street remain open

Metro Transit Routes 4, 7, & 38 will be flagged through the intersection and remain active during these closures.

Bike and pedestrian movements will be maintained.
