The Snow Emergency in the City of Madison is over. Alternate side parking rules are in effect for most of the City of Madison with the exception of the downtown/isthmus snow emergency zone. Violations of the alternate side parking rules are punishable by a fine of $20 at this time. During a snow emergency the fine increases to $60.
