The planning process continues for the playground located at the Brittingham Park community garden, 801 W. Washington Ave. The existing playground, one of three at Brittingham Park will be replaced in 2017.

The community is invited to attend a public input meeting hosted at the Bayview International Center for Education and the Arts (601 Bay View) on Wednesday, October 26, beginning at 6:30pm.

At this meeting attendees will be able to choose the playground equipment manufacturer, age range, colors and type of playground surfacing to be installed at this location.

For those familiar with the project, the public input process began in November 2014. Through the Racial Equity and Social Justice (RESJ) Tool, a conscious decision was made for the future of the three playgrounds at Brittingham Park.
