Due to emergency water main work, South Central Contracting, Inc. must close the peak hour travel lane on the 400 block of West Johnson Street for the afternoon peak travel period.  The work is expected to occur through 5:00 PM today.  Two travel lanes and the bike lane will remain open.          
 
The closure will cause a significant increase in travel times so motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays during this closure.
