Mark your calendars for a special one-day book sale at the Central Library, 201 West Mifflin St., Madison, on Saturday, September 27, 9 am - 5 pm.

This special sale will take place in conjunction with Circus at the Library!—the one-year anniversary of the new Central library. There will be circus-themed activities and displays in the children’s area and an event with children’s author Erin Soderberg sponsored by the Wisconsin Book Festival. Library staff will also be hosting children's activities at an outdoor tent in partnership with Overture Center for the Arts and Madison Children's Museum as part of 10fest,  the 10-year anniversary of the Overture Center.

“Come and join the celebration, and pick up some books, CDs, DVDs, and other items at great prices for school projects, to build your personal library, or just for your fall reading pleasure,” said Kathi Kemp, book sale coordinator. “Madison Public Library is a community treasure, and this sale is one way to show your support for everything the library does.”

The sale will take place in and near the Friends' Book Store on the first floor of the Central Library, and features a bag sale ($5 per grocery bag) from 3-5 p.m.
