Citizens Encouraged To Report Problem Locations To City Engineering

The City of Madison Engineering Division is cautioning motorists and pedestrians that this weekend's heavy snowfall may lead to flooding in some streets and intersections.

City Engineer Larry Nelson said the snowpack, with its high moisture content, is already showing signs of causing inlets to back-up. But the Engineering Division is ready to fix any resulting flooding problems.

If you see any flooding in the intersection or plugged inlets, you are encouraged to call in the location to City Engineering at 266-4430, or use the City's on-line Report A Problem system.
