Riding Tips for Riding Paratransit During Extreme Heat

During extreme heat, the interiors of Metro paratransit vehicles tend to get warmer due to doors being open frequently and for extended periods of time while passengers board and disembark.

Paratransit passengers are encouraged to follow these travel tips to ensure a more comfortable ride.

1. Wear short-sleeves and other clothing types that will help keep you cool.

2. Bring water along when you travel.

3. Opt for shorter trips whenever possible.
