New taxicab stands have been designated and new signs installed at the following eight locations:

400 N Frances
300 W. Gorham
500 N Lake
300 W Johnson
200 N Henry
Dayton Street
Mills Street
600 Block of University

These locations are designated as taxicab stands during the peak taxicab demand hours of 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. The purposes of these new stands are to help State Street patrons more easily find available taxicabs and, also, to alleviate taxicab traffic on State Street.
