Many people have called 911 or stopped by Fire Station #10 on Troy Drive, to report smoke coming from the Warner Park area. Dry grass and vegetation continue to smolder near the fireworks site, which is contained to a marshy area and is surrounded by water. The closest shore is 80 feet away.

City of Madison Fire crews continue to check on the smoldering areas several times a day.
