Beginning Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 7:00 am, the Southwest Bike Path will be closed at and near N. Orchard Street. Work is expected to be completed and this section of the Southwest Bike Path to be open to pedestrian and bicycle traffic by 7:00 am Saturday, August 11, 2012.

An "on street" signed detour will be provided on N. Randall Street, West Dayton Street and Mills Street. More project information including the traffic control plans and the contract traffic control specification can be seen at:

This is the final phase of the project, which consists of finish work on N. Orchard Street (such as curb and gutter, finish paving, etc.) and restoration of the Southwest Bike Path.
