On Wednesday, February 19th, AT&T and their subcontractors will be placing copper cable from a manhole at the intersection of State Street and North Fairchild Street (by the Overture Center) to install telecommunications service to 129 State Street.
This will require closing through-traffic on the 100 block of West Dayton Street and 100 block of North Fairchild Street between North Carroll Street and West Mifflin Street. The closure will occur from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
During the closure, West Dayton Street traffic will be detoured south on Wisconsin Avenue towards the Square, then west on West Mifflin Street and south on North Carroll Street around the Square to West Washington Avenue.
Local vehicle access to the Associated Bank drive-through and the State Street Capitol Parking Garage will be maintained at all times.
Pedestrian traffic will be maintained at all times during this street closure.
Motorists and bicyclists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays during this closure.
