Residents with a Monday collection day should download new calendars

City of Madison residents who receive trash and recycling collection from the Streets Division on Mondays should download an updated version of their 2022 and 2023 collection schedules.

There were two errors on the first version of the Monday collection calendars released earlier this year. The errors have now been fixed.

The updated schedules, along with all other collection calendars, are available at www.cityofmadison.com/CollectionSchedule. Just enter your address into the online form to get the calendar for your home.

If you do not have access to the internet, or if you cannot get the form to work, contact the Streets Division and a calendar will be mailed to you. If you live east of South Park Street, you can call 608-246-4532 and if you live west of South Park Street, you can call 608-266-4681.

What were the errors that were fixed?
The previous iteration of the calendars failed to account for the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays falling on a Sunday.

As result of these holidays falling on a Sunday, Streets Division collections will not occur on Monday, December 26, 2022 and Monday, January 2, 2023. Drop-off sites will also be closed on these two days.

The newly released calendars corrects the oversight and we apologize for the error.
