Dog owners, don't forget! Saturday, March 31, from 8 a.m. - noon is the 12th annual Volunteer Spring Cleanup day at area Dog Exercise Parks, rain or shine! Bring your scoopers to your favorite off-leash pet exercise area and pitch in. Park Leaders will greet you at the entrance and will provide garbage bags.

The off-leash dog exercise areas include:
City of Madison: Warner, Quann, Brittingham, and Sycamore Parks;
Dane County Parks: Badger Prairie, Indian Lake, Prairie Moraine (Tower Site), Yahara Heights, Token Creek, Viking Parks.
Other Area Dog Parks: Sun Prairie Pet Exercise Area, and the Middleton Dog Park on Hwy Q.

The volunteers will receive a bag with goodies for both people and dogs, courtesy of our many local sponsors.

Pet permits are required for parks in the City of Madison, Dane County Parks, Sun Prairie and Middleton Parks. Permits can be purchased on-site or on-line: www.cityofmadison.com/parks.

Dog owners are reminded to always keep their pets under control and to clean up after them.
