Students in grades K-3 will find a miniature baseball diamond set up with "coaches" at each base to share information on key safety concepts. The ultimate goal - just as in baseball - to be "Safe at Home".

The program is conducted by the Department's Community Education unit, with full assistance from firefighters. Some assistance was also provided by the Madison Mallards.

The Community Education team expects to reach 8,000 - 10,000 students during the month of October.
