Residents on Starr Grass Dr. reported hearing a loud explosion that “shook the entire neighborhood” Wednesday afternoon.
 
Ladder 7 arrived to the scene to find several people examining a street light post. Firefighters noticed that the area surrounding the post had been burned, but there was no fire or smoke and no damage to the pole.
 
Several witnesses spoke to MFD about what they heard, smelled, and saw. Nobody reported seeing any suspicious activity in the neighborhood prior to the incident.
 
The exact cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
