Unoccupied Vehicle Strikes West Side Home, Causing Damage
A west side home suffered some damage after a vehicle parked up the street rolled into the front porch, but nobody was hurt. Engine Co. 12 responded to assess the damage. They determined the vehicle found on the front lawn was once parked uphill. It rolled down the hill, unoccupied, and came to a rest after coming into contact with a house on the 8900 block of Ancient Oak Lane. No one inside the home was injured. Although a decorative pillar was damaged in the collision, firefighters determined there was no substantial damage to any weight-bearing supports and the damage was mostly cosmetic.
